An Important Message from Santa Teresa Dental Regarding COVID-19

To Our Valued Patients,

We appreciate the trust and loyalty you’ve placed in Santa Teresa Dental over the past few years. Our community has navigated many challenges, and we are grateful for your patience and support as we implemented enhanced safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of February 2nd, 2025, we are sunsetting our COVID-19 protocols in accordance with current health guidelines. While we are no longer enforcing specific COVID-19 policies, patient safety and infection control remain our top priorities. We continue to follow strict sterilization and hygiene protocols set by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Continued Commitment to Clean Air & Safety

We remain dedicated to maintaining optimal air quality and ventilation in our office:

  • Advanced air purification – A 950 CADR H13 HEPA air purifier covers up to 5,000 square feet per hour, removing 99.99% of particles down to 0.1 microns. This system runs 24/7 from Monday to Friday.
  • Multiple portable air purifiers – Additional medium- and small-room purifiers are utilized throughout the office.
  • Enhanced ventilation – All office fans, including those within our Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, remain on throughout the day and two hours beyond the last patient. This process is automated by Google Nest Thermostats to optimize air circulation.

What This Means for Your Visit:

  • Standard infection control measures remain in place – Our commitment to cleanliness and patient safety continues.
  • Tele-dentistry services will remain available for consultation and triage when needed.
  • Masks are optional for both administrative staff and patients, unless mandated by a local health order. You are welcome to wear one if you prefer.
  • A comfortable, welcoming environment – Our air purification systems and sanitation practices will continue to enhance your experience.

While COVID-19-specific protocols are being retired, our commitment to exceptional care and patient well-being remains unchanged. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for being part of the Santa Teresa Dental family—we look forward to seeing you at your next visit!

Sincerely,
Dr. Andrew Huang, Dr. Ann & the Santa Teresa Dental Team
